Think of this page as the quiet corner of the study room where we explain, honestly and in plain English, what happens to your information when you use the app. Lernix AI Homework Helper ("Lernix", "we", "us") is the developer and the party responsible for this policy. There is no sign-in and no account to create, so we have deliberately kept things simple. This policy is effective from 2026-10-30.

The short version

You can open Lernix and start studying without giving us your name, email address or a password, because the app has no user accounts. When you ask Lernix for help, your question is sent to our own backend so the AI can generate a response. Payments are handled by Apple, not by us. We use Adapty to understand subscription status and related analytics. That is the whole picture, and the sections below fill in the details.

What we collect, and what we leave alone

What we do handle: the content you submit for help, such as typed questions or other study material you choose to send, so it can be processed and answered; and subscription-related information (for example, whether a subscription is active) that comes through Apple and Adapty. What we do not collect: we do not ask for or store account details like your name, email address, phone number or password, because there is no sign-in. Please avoid putting personal details about yourself or anyone else into your questions. Your homework help works just as well without them.

Where your questions go

When you send a question, it is processed on our own backend, run by the developer, to produce your AI-generated explanation or answer. We use that content to provide the help you asked for and to keep the service working properly. We do not sell your questions or the responses you receive.

The services working alongside us

Two third parties play a role in the app. Apple App Store: the app is distributed through the App Store, and all purchases and subscriptions are made through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card or payment information. Adapty: when used, Adapty helps us track subscription status and subscription analytics, such as whether a subscription is active, so the app can unlock the right features and we can understand how subscriptions are performing. Adapty handles this information under its own privacy terms.

Paying for Lernix

If you choose a subscription or other purchase, the transaction happens entirely through Apple. Apple handles billing, renewals and refunds. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (directly or through Adapty) so we can give you access to what you have paid for, but not your payment card details.

How long we keep things

We keep information only for as long as we need it to provide the service, maintain subscription access, and meet any legal obligations. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you. Information held by Apple or Adapty is retained according to their own policies.

Your rights over your information

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold that relates to you, and you can ask us to delete it. Because Lernix has no accounts, we may need some detail from you, such as the approximate time of a request or a purchase reference, to locate the right information. For purchase and payment records held by Apple, you can also manage your information directly with Apple. We will respond to genuine requests within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
